NEW PROJECTS BY ROSARIO CIVELLO IN OUR GALLERY

Three projects by Rosario Civello can now be seen in the gallery!

These are Seascapes, Signs and Snow Shapes.

The author approaches Photography in the late 1970s. He took his first steps by conducting aesthetic research on various themes, making use of Photography to release and express his creative energy.
He now finds constant inspiration in Nature, in the landscape, whose mysterious language one begins to read and know from the moment one begins to love and photograph it.
“The space around us often consists of numerous elements arranged in a chaotic manner. It is a matter of bringing order to the composition, creating a balance between the elements-light and dark, dots, lines, planes and shapes. “

In particular, the “Signs” series draws inspiration from Wassily Kandinsky’s essay “Point Line Surface,” read several years before the shots were taken.

“Point and line, from immaterial geometric entities, from conceptual abstraction, materialize, acquire body and become concrete form on the surface.”
