MAST Foundation: UNIFORM INTO THE WORK / OUT OF THE WORK

The MAST Foundation presents the major exhibition project UNIFORM INTO THE WORK / OUT OF THE WORK: a journey through uniforms, prompting reflection on being and appearing. The two photographic exhibitions, one group and one monographic, investigate the multiple types of clothing worn by workers in different historical, social and professional contexts. Created to distinguish the wearer, uniforms on the one hand show membership in a category, order, or corps, regardless of class or census, and on the other hand highlight a separation from the community.
