INVISIBLE GLASS WITH UV PROTECTION: WHY USE THIS AMAZING PRODUCT?

In the art world, it is increasingly important to safeguard works over time. To ensure this, framing and the related use of conservation materials is essential. Having covered the topic on passepartouts we now see the  Conservative Invisible Glass.  Protection is not the only reason to use this fantastic product!!!

Here are the benefits of framing with our invisible glass:

– avoids annoying reflections ensuring a sharp view of the work

– shows the true colors of the artwork that remain saturated and bright unlike old generation anti-reflective glass

– easy to clean and abrasion resistant thanks to Magnetron Sputtering (Hard Coating) technology

– protection from the sun’s rays or from some lamps that cause color loss and yellowing

This is precisely why we offer two types of invisible glass, one with the UV protection of 70% and the other of 92%.

The former can transmit 99% of the brightness of the work and the visible reflection is less than 0.5%. The second protects more from UV rays and transmits 98% of the brightness, with the visible light reflection of 1%.

 Works mounted under invisible glass make a significant leap in quality over a mount with regular glass, and this is precisely why the frames we offer are supplied exclusively with invisible glass.

Zeroglass is certified ISO 9211, EN 1096-2 and EN 1279-2 in tests for abrasion, coating adhesion, UV, condensation, salt vaporization, acid rain and thermal shock.

In the image we see a photograph framed with three types of glass:

– top we find the old generation anti-reflective glass that reduces reflections, but dulls and dulls the colors of the image.
– center can be easily seen that our proposed invisible glass eliminates reflections and shows the real image making colors more saturated and brilliant.
– the lower section is composed of the normal glass, which not only emits an annoying glare but also substantially changes the colors and brightness of the work.
