ATELIER OF ERROR 

OPEN STUDIO

On the occasion of the Festival of European Photography and in conjunction with the opening of Elisabetta Benassi’s project at Collezione Maramotti, the studio of the Atelier dell’Errore BIG, a group of the Atelier dell’Errore’s overage children, who meet weekly at Collezione Maramotti to draw together, will be open for the first time. The Atelier in recent months has grown in number of participants and is creating new works. In addition to a selection of  drawings emblematic of the boys’ production – works on a white background, mostly of irregular format, housed in wooden caskets – the exhibition includes recent works on “black background,” which propose a entomological reinterpretation of the deadly sins. Photographic shots related to the Atelier’s latest productions will also be screened, in which the close-up view of the sign is transformed into abstract suggestion, offering a possible reading path and a journey within the process of creating the drawings.
