ANDO GILARDI – PHOTO INDUSTRY BOLOGNA 2021

Photographer, historian, critic, editor… Ando Gilardi is one of the most eclectic and original figures in the history of Italian photography. The national historical photo library he founded in 1959 comes to contain some 500,000 images, constituting a pioneering archive on the social uses and functions of photography. This exhibition presents a selection of the countless materials produced and collected by Gilardi on the theme of food.
