GIACOMO BRUNO – ESSENTIAL LIVES

There’s a new artist on our gallery! This is the emerging photographer Giacomo Bruno with his project “Essential Lives“, a collection of images born during their travels, as a direct consequence of the interest for the photographic documentation of everything on this planet is vital and rhythms that increasingly fast, silent, or is destined to disappear.
Each photographic journey undertaken is focused on man and his environment, in its uniqueness and simplicity. No claim or presumption of wanting to tell people and places still unknown or not yet photographed, the only ambition is to represent them in their beauty and uniqueness, in their balance increasingly unstable and precarious, among the roots of their culture and alienating flattening of the new , highlighting the particularities and uniqueness and giving back to the protagonists of dignity and pride images.

The works proposed on the site will also be exposed to SetUp Contemporary Art Fair 2017, the international exhibition dedicated to contemporary art to be held on days 27, 28 and 29 January in Bologna.

In particular shooting “The stilt fisherman” is nominated for the Prize Tiziano Campolmi, a prestigious competition dedicated to emerging artists. The 5 finalists will be chosen through a popular vote consisting of the “Like” clicked on the photograph to the following address:
