OLIVO BARBIERI – LANDS IN MOTION

Olivo Barbieri, Paola De Pietri and Petra Noordkamp are the artists involved in the project TERRE IN MOVIMENTO – a commissioning promoted by the Soprintendenza Archeologia Belle Arti e Paesaggio delle Marche, which tells the historical landscape, human and natural disrupted by the 2016 earthquake: relics, ruins, fragile new settlements, people.
The project, promoted and produced by the Superintendence in partnership with MAXXI and the Associazione Demanio Marittimo.Km-278, invited Olivo Barbieri, Paola De Pietri and Petra Noordkamp to elaborate a personal look at a delicate and in some ways “non-transitory” phase, with a perspective in which “lands in motion” are an idea of the transition and morphological, economic, cultural and community transformations of the Marche and Adriatic territory.
