GIULIO AMADASI. AN AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHER BETWEEN BORETTO AND EUROPE.

Saturday, Dec. 1, at 5 p.m. at the Magazzini del Genio (in Viale Umberto I, Boretto) will be the opening of the photo exhibition“Giulio Amadasi un fotoamatore tra Boretto e l’Europa,” curated by Monica Benassi and La Bottega Photographica, which brings to light a private archive consisting of stereoscopic plates produced by Amadasi between 1910 and 1930. During the afternoon, the volume that collects the material taken will also be presented and a lecture on the subject is scheduled by Dr.  Laura Manione, photography historian and critic and director of the “Luciano Giachetti – Fotocronisti Baita” photo archive in Vercelli. The exhibition can be visited until Dec. 15.
